THREAD: This new Nature Medicine study which suggests some Covid antibodies may not last for long periods of time, doesn’t mean people wont have residual immunity after infection. Moreover, other studies suggest there’s a period of immunity for most people https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-020-0965-6

A second study published in same journal had an interesting finding, however: That asymptomatic people indeed shed virus when they’re infected (and could thus spread infection) and they may shed virus for longer periods of time than those with symptoms 2/2 https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-020-2456-9
